Christian's Warren Miller films

Tom:  You've been in two Warren Miller films. Where do we see you in a Warren Miller film?

Christian:  Well, the first Warren Miller film I did was called, "Journey," and we traveled to Morocco for two weeks. We skied in the high Atlas Mountains, and then kayaked on this one river that I can't remember [laughs] the name of, but it basically comes right out of the rocks. It was really incredible. And I hadn't kayaked in a long time, so you don't see me actually river kayaking, because I swam a couple of times, but anyhow.

Tom:  [laughs]

Christian:  Then we went down to the beach and did some surf kayaking. So, that was quite an amazing trip. It was really cool, really different culture than any I had experienced before. I had never traveled in any Islamic country, and so it was wonderful — really great people, incredible food, and just an amazing opportunity to go travel on someone else's dime [laughs].

The snowboarding was awesome. It was really fun, really fun skiing, and kind of a little bit unexpected, because, you're right on the edge of the Sahara desert, and you ski up in the high Atlases. It was cool.

And the other trip we did, the other movie was called, "Impact," and we went to the Wrangell St. Elias National Forest, or National Park, there in Alaska, and we skied out of the Ultima Thule Lodge and flew on this single Otter all over the range and just saw some incredible places, did some amazing skiing.

And all those trips were with some really cool people – a couple of telemarketers, and then me, the knuckle dragger. We had a great time. "Journey," and "Impact."

Tom:  Great. Thank you for talking to us.

Christian:  Thank you, Tom.

Tom:  All right.

Christian:  It was great being here. Thanks for the opportunity.
